Appreciation of a Lazy Sunday

Yesterday was the perfect lazy Sunday, a much-needed escape from the hectic workweek that had consumed me. I decided to unwind and recharge at Jomtien Beach in Thailand. The weather was on my side, with clear skies and a gentle 30-degree breeze, making it an ideal day to soak up the beach atmosphere.

While some might find the sellers annoying, I am not one of those and welcomed their offerings. I was offered everything from a tee shirt, a brush to clear away sand, a refreshing cold beer, and even hot tempura prawns, which were tempting, to say the least. Massages and hammocks and more were on offer all offered with genuine respect and acceptance of a polite no thanks when I declined.

With my recent knee replacements, I’ve been searching for a particular item she happened to be selling, both in Perth and Bali, without success. But this time, I was determined to acquire it, whatever the cost. My husband skilfully handled the bargaining, and I am now the proud owner of a simple yet effective wooden massage device that works wonders on my swollen, aching calf muscles.

This lazy Sunday by the beach turned out to be a perfect day of relaxation, discovery, and a newfound appreciation for the little things that make life a bit more comfortable. Love MyLifestyle
